Horizon Credit Union Announces Leadership Promotions and New Hires

Wendy Duncan, Vice President of Retail Operations
Wendy Duncan has been with Horizon Credit Union since 2004. She brings 35 years of credit union experience to her new role as Vice President of Retail Operations. Wendy has played a key role in navigating organizational growth and change, earning a reputation for her leadership, deep industry knowledge and commitment to member service. She began her career in 1990 with URM Credit Union and has served in a variety of roles, most recently as Director of Retail Services for Horizon’s Spokane Valley locations.

Rod Austin, Vice President of Marketing
Rod Austin joins Horizon Credit Union as Vice President of Marketing, bringing a diverse background in traditional and digital media. Most recently, he served at Blue Federal Credit Union in Cheyenne, WY. Rod combines data-driven strategy with creative thinking to drive results and foster team growth. His career spans leadership roles across software and SaaS companies, including work with a firm acquired by GoDaddy, as well as founding and operating his own growth marketing agency focused on startups.

Josh Seitz, Vice President of Human Resources Operations
Josh Seitz has been with Horizon Credit Union since 2009 and brings more than 15 years of experience in human resources to his role as Vice President of Human Resources Operations. He began his career at Horizon as an HR Administrator, advancing to HR Manager and later Director of Human Resources, where he played a key role in developing and scaling HR systems to support the organization’s growth. Josh leads teams with a focus on creating a strong employee experience.

Nick Krumbholz, Vice President of Growth & Service
Nick Krumbholz joins Horizon Credit Union as Vice President of Growth & Service, bringing more than 16 years of banking experience. He will play a key role in advancing Horizon’s retail strategy, enhancing member relationships and delivering a consistent, high-quality experience across the organization. Nick has a strong background in senior leadership roles at Academy Bank, where he oversaw retail product performance, branch operations and initiatives to grow deposits and strengthen sales.
