Knock Summer Out of the Park With the Great Falls Voyagers

Looking for something to do on a summer night in Great Falls? Why not go to a good ol’ fashioned baseball game? At Centene Stadium, home of the Great Falls Voyagers, families and friends gather to enjoy America’s pastime and spend time together. It’s a simple tradition that we at Horizon are thrilled to be a part of. Our partnership with the Great Falls Voyagers is one of the many ways we serve communities in western Montana and beyond.  

Who are the Great Falls Voyagers? 

The Great Falls Voyagers are a Pioneer League baseball team based in Great Falls, Montana. Before going independent in 2021, they spent decades as a farm club for the Giants, Dodgers and White Sox.  

Their name comes from a UFO sighting in 1950, when the team’s general manager spotted unexplainable lights in the sky. The encounter inspired the team’s name and also the team’s long-standing mascot, Orbit, a friendly green alien. 

The Voyagers are known for being family-friendly, affordable, and fun. From themed nights to community events, the team gives residents a place to gather, cheer and enjoy time outside during the warmer months. 

Horizon’s partnership with the Voyagers 

Horizon became the Voyagers’ first and only jersey sponsor in 2023. Since then, our relationship has grown into a visible part of game day at Centene Stadium.  

For us, it’s more than just an advertising opportunity. It’s about being part of a local tradition and supporting something that matters to the Great Falls community. As a credit union serving communities across western Montana, partnerships like this help us connect in ways that extend beyond our branches. 

Game day 

If you’ve been to a Voyagers game, you’ve likely already seen Horizon around the stadium. Our logo appears on the front of player jerseys. Around the ballpark, you’ll also see Horizon signage and hear Horizon-sponsored announcements.  

We also take part in promotions, giveaways and special events at the ballpark. We love adding to the excitement, whether that means handing out fun swag or helping host one of the many theme nights.
